They say everyone needs a room of their own. Recently I had the utmost pleasure in taking a peek into Skye's carving cabin (she has another cabin too!). Oh my, it is such a dream of a space that I asked if I could photograph it! Warm, comforting and inviting, it is full of pieces whose imperfections speak of their history and collections that speak of the creators' artistic nature.
I could imagine myself with a cup a tea, a block of wood and a pod cast playing while working away on a project. Alas, I'm no spoon carver, but I dare say I shall be needing to purchase one of Skye's spoons when her online shop is up and running. I shall keep you posted as to when she is ready to part with some of her work!
